you guys are too funny, can I get in on this? I dont have any money to spare, but just some thoughts
no way on the butterfly, as it might nip at our zoo's/paly's and if you dont want a flame, you def. don't want a butterfly
what lights doyou havae over your tank?

Ha! I'm more than happy to let you join the thread. It's actually what I'm looking for more people to do!
I'm using a 72" 14 bulb constellation t-5 fixture. Pretty awesome fixture if you ask me. I would definitely go the MH route for the shimmer but I wouldnt have the $$ or room for a chiller
Aquatinics is coming out with a hybrid Constellation fixture with high intensity LEDs that (supposedly) create the shimmer effect in which Metal Halides produce. I asked, and they told me that they are trying to come up with an upgrade for the old constellation fixtures (as it would be a mess trying to sell the old one and buying a new one).
Pictures will come, I promise lol. Just not much has changed in the tank. I still may be getting a frag tank so I'll keep you guys updated

Yeah its great. I'm SOOOO looking forward to the LEDs. I really hope they can come together with an upgrade for the older versions. I've been dying for that shimmer effect!!

I'm thinking about getting an Green LTA as well. The whole left side of my tank is gonna have softies and anemones so I think they'll look great together.
I'm trying to get in touch with this guy about this tank he has for sale.
it's a 70g 36x24x18 (cool size for a frag tank, and just a regular tank). 3 sides have starfire. Something I can really work with. Besides, I need a summer project lol.

Yeah you should post the pic of the LTA rando. Its pretty cool
And I dont think I'm gonna get the frag tank. It looked a LOT worse than I thought it would when the dude showed me pictures.
What I REALLY REALLY want to do is tie just another small tank into my DT inside of my stand. Unfortunately I cant because there is absolutely no room. Unless I can find something to use as an ATO reservoir.
