Hello
I have never kept an angel fish and would like to get some knowledge on a mixed reef tank .. my tank is 36x24x20 and has been established for about 2 years . Would like know if I can keep a couple juveniles if dwarf angel fishes . Maybe a jocular and flame or just couple small joculator if can find em . Other tank mates are 2 clowns 1 chromis 1 mandarin goby .

I have for almost 2 yr a flameback from Africa and is a model citizen, always nipping on the rocks

I love joculator angels. If they weren't $800, I would've had one already.

In a tank that size, I'd stick to one angel personally. Angels can be pretty nasty towards each other. A smaller tank is calling for trouble for multiple angels. Make sure that any angel you add is also the last fish you add to your tank because they don't like fish that are introduced after them.

In nature basically all dwarf angels live in pairs or small harems, therefore I would always try to keep them in a similar social structure. Aggression between males can be a major problem, therefore I would recommend finding a dealer that can either sex them (flames and potters are quite easy, other ones a bit more tricky) and/or test whether they fit together. At least here in Germany we have a few good LSF that sell you mated pairs. They are more expensive than two single ones, but that's a price I pay quite happily. I am keeping a pair of multibars, absolutely stunning.

When you say small harems, you mean the same kind of fish in multiples? Or can you have 3+ different types together?

for example 2x Flame + 1x Flame Back ?
or 1 x Flame Back + 2 x Cherub ?

Max two angels 1 joc for sure with some other type or if I can find a pair of jocs

I found pairing dwarf angels quite easy as long as you have a large enough number of specimen to pick from.
Another approach to getting a pair or harem is to buy a group of juveniles and let them figure it out on their own. All angles start out as females and the dominant one of the group becomes the male (clownfish are the only ones that have this the "wrong" way around).
The thing I found was that single dwarf angels start behaving abnormal after a while, either get psychotic, aggressive or destructive - or all of the above - out of boredom. I never observed that with pairs or harems. So I would keep them only in pairs.

I actually started a thread here with research papers about pair formation and spawning behavior of angelfish.

I saw that you have mandarin in your tank. Angel will out compete a mandarin in that tank for sure. Need to relocate your mandarin if you want an angeo or two
