i was wondering about keeping a LTA but im running t5s do you need MH lights to keep one alive or will the t5 s be good enough its a 432 watt light over a 72 gallon

Yeah, an LTA will have not problem with the lighting system you have, unless your tank is especially deep.

There isn't much you can't keep with that light output. I only have 216w of T5 over my 75g and my anemones are doing just fine.

You can do one easlily with that lighting.I like MH but thats for the shimmer affect T5's can also give the shimmer.
