keeping erectus in lps tank what temps?

What is a good temp to keep erectus at?

Can they handle 74-75degrees without health related issues?

what do you mean by LPS ? most LPS can eat or sting seahorses.

I wouldn't do any other than threat levels 0 and 1.
I'd also keep the maximum temperature no higher than 74°.
Best also to have no other fish but sometimes it works out OK,depending on the fish.

Mine do fine at 76 to 79 and have for years. 70 t o74 is fine too,maybe better, many say 75 but you can find a temp where corals and erectus can thrive in the same water. Truth is this species occupies a broad range with a good deal of temp variability in nature. Just keep spikes under 80 for that species . Separate tank is better. I'd worry about most lps with them for stings.

The tank will have gorgs, sponges and the lps will be acan lords nothing too aggressive.

It's been a few years since I kept seahorses. I had them with various Euphyllia corals, candy cane, gorgs and blastos. I never had a problem in with stinging . . . vibro finally got them after nearly 3 years . . . I reviewed the threat list and most make sense to me, but blastos a level 2? Maybe it's because they have a mouth? They are about the most layed back coral I've ever kept (and still do) . . . . right next to dun cans.

I have acan lords and gorgonians with my h. erectus and the tank has been running at 71 degrees all winter. Everybody seems happy.

The list does not mention any NPS. Although harder to keep, a non-stinging NPS setup would work well since it also can use lower temps, lots of food, and it offers many hitching places too.
