Geez I think I might have got taken for a ride? The guy at the LFS told me it would be good for my pylops, shrooms, featherdusters, so almost 30 bucks later I get it home and it looks like a bottle full of old green algae? Dose any thing even eat this stuff? I do not plan on getting any hard corals any time soon, so is this stuff use full or just another drop in the reef keeping bucket?

On a positive note I noticed pods on the glass to day and saw my first ever bristle worm! ( wow ten years, you would of thought I would a seen one before now?)

Also my maroon and green mushrooms will not open? I think the flow may be to much for them? There in between my green star polyps and a furry mushroom rock, both looking great? Just the green and maroon shrooms will not open? I know the light is not a problem because I've keep these same ones before and they did great? The difference is now there is way more flow then before.

wha challl think?
Thanks

I'm a bit skeptical about the value of that food after the preservation. I use DT's, but Phyto-Feast and the cryo-pastes are good for many animals, as well. None of the corals or fish will eat the phytoplankton directly, but it will start a food chain that will produce some live food.

The mushrooms might be acclimating to a change in light or in flow. How long have they been in the system?

Not long I got em yesterday morning.
How long do you think I should wait before I try moving them to a lower flow area?
Thanks
