Kenya babies

So my kenya tree has droped some babies. I have 3 if anyone wants one let me know. Free to a good home.

how much light do they need?

When they "drop", do they drop entire branches??

They dont need a ton of light I only have them under 2X65 10K and 1X96 actinic.

When they drop they are just small pieces about 1in maybe.

I'd take a piece. maybe have a buddy pick them up or I could myself.

Yeah they bud over time - I have tons in my tank. The only good thing is that softcorals like Kenya and Xenia are great at absorbing nasties in the water so they help filter it.

wait it took me like 6 mos for them to start now every once and while I get them everywhere. I have been changing some things in my tank though so it could be a change in flow making it happen

Glad to hear that everything settled in well. These are very hardy specimens IMO I couldn't slow down their growth if I wanted to.
