Kenya Tree Splitting?

I have a Kenya Tree coral that I picked up from the LFS as a small frag about 3 months ago. It has grown well, is probably over 3 inches tall now with numerous branches. This weekend, 3 different branches seem to have pinched themselves off and fell to the sand, one of them having already grabbed a few grains arag. with it's new foot.

Is this the normal means by which tree corals propagate themselves? Water parameters have not changed, and feeding remains the same. Both 'parent' and 'child' pieces seem to be doing fine. TIA for any advice.

Some will and some wont. They would prefer them to be mount so that they are to be sold. Those frags that fell off are probably small, LFS likes them to be around 1-3" from my guess.

ek9vboi, that's what i figured, I went ahead and glued them to some pieces of rubble. Their both about 1" now, probably grow them out for couple more weeks and see how they look. It budded off another piece today, the parent looks kind of funny now.
