Kessil A150?

Hi,

Have been doing a fair amount of research on this light. When I Google it I read alot of pro's but only one negative which is fan noise (whining) . Has this issue been corrected with the Kessil a150's as of yet? Or better yet can someone let me know exactly what it sounds like?

I never had a problem with noise but I would not get them as they are 265.00 and Maxspect just came out with something similar that is 200.00 and adjustable.

So you would be paying an extra 65.00 for a Light with less Features.

The Maxspect is a No-Brainer.

What size is your Aquarium by the way?

20x18x20 I'm not really into the coral side of the hobby but rather seagrass and such. So, the 67K would be spot on with the kessil. However the spread and intensity of the light is questionable. Given with a 4" inch sandbed the tank dimensions would come out around 20x18x16 For what the light could penetrate?

That is just the price of the light.

You ahve to factor in 40.00 for the additional Gooseneck so that is why it is 265.00 total.

The Maxspect comes with the Gooseneck all for 200.00 total.
