Kessil a150w help

As I was looking at the installation instructions for mounting the kessil to the gooseneck, I noticed that you will need to remove the triangle hooks and screws from the kessil.(I dont know how to do this) When I do try to remove the triangle hooks and screws I feel like im about to break the unit. Any advice would be helpful.

Huh? I just mounted the bracket to the pendant, screwed in the gooseneck and plugged it in. Are you sure you're not looking at the a350 instructions?

Im pretty sure Im not (It shows that the instuructions apply for both the a150 and a350, just a different mounting bracket) It does show triangle hooks for the a150 though.

Odd, I just got a A150W amzon sun for my planted tank and it had no hooks installed but they were in the bag. I noticed they were pre treated with a blue threadlocker type material. They are fairly small and should break loose with little force.

I used no triangles. I just screwed the bracket into the pendant, and then screwed the pendant into the gooseneck and went from there.

I just went down to lowes and picked up some screws that fit the bill, I did contact kessil explaning how no screws came to mount the unit to the goosneck but they never replied.
