I plan on starting out at 30% intensity and bump up every month, guess I should've kept that par meter I sold lol

From 30% you could increase 3-5% weekly, keep an eye on all your corals mounted high and especially light colored ones. My green montis I had to move lower because the light was too intense at 70%

I'm using the app on my Samsung s7 edge

Ive not used that app but if your adding green and/or reds the max is 70%. 100% intensity is really high, I would be very cautious going that high. I find that 70% is the highest I can possible go with out frying some coral.

Running now.

Awesome! Post some pictures and results you get.

I've actually been getting really good results so far. I've had the lights for 6 months now but my system is only two months old as it is now.

Almost done with the floating canopy for my AP700 and 4x T5. Those are 3x Noctua NF-P14 Redux 140mm fans which will be controlled by my Apex. The center fan will be blowing cold air into the fan of the AP700 so I doubt the built-in light fan will fire as much as those puppies are designed for static pressure. The fans on corners are for exhaust so not much heat will be flowing down towards the water.

The arm is a monoprice full motion TV mount rated for 77lbs.

Also installing a Neutrik USB feedthrough connector in the back of the canopy for super easy firmware updates.

Anyone have experience with 2 AP700s on a 120 brick? I was thinking of using them for a SPS / Maxima clam tank. I want enough power to be able to put SPS anywhere in the tank.

Oh yea! That will do it for sure, that will be a great system because the lights will be closer and further reduce shadows.

I was thinking today watching some of the MACNA videos, about the AP700 <> new Neptune Apex 2016 and future connectivity which I believe had some chatter early this year.

Posing the question to Kessil, we'll see if this is on their Soon™ list.

@gus6464, Yes it is 48 x 24 x 24. Everywhere I have been, all the LFS call them bricks. they look like a big glass brick.

Please, Please, Please help me. I am going nuts with my Kessil AP700. Anyone know why the program won't start? Now, first off the lights are connected (I have 2) I can do everything with them manually no problem. I turn them off, select the program that I want and they never turn on. Please tell me there is a trick to this. Going insane.

There's a little lock at the top that keeps them in manual. Make sure it's where it should be.

If you turn off the lights, how can you select the program?

Are you connecting thru your router of directly?

It should be

Turn lights on, connect thru app, select program n shut down app.

Are you following the steps in the manual on the app? What step are you having problems with? I connect directly to the lights through my phone and never had an issues.

Sorry, my explanation left a lot out. The lock I'm talking about is in the app. If u have the lock on it will stay in manual and not revert to program schedule mode.
Only use the direct connect , don't use the wifi router connection, nothing but problems.

OMG the lock is the problem??? I was doing the opposite so when it shows "Stay on manual mode" it means it is in program mode? Wow. Talk about #*% backwards. So lock open means program mode is on lock closed manual is on. Man o man if that's all it is I might just go out to the barn and shoot myself. I hope this is it. Thanks man. I truly didn't think that mattered. Why didn't the Kessil support team say that first, was almost sending these things back to get them replaced. Will let you know what happens in the morning.

Lol, I think it's one of those things that is obvious to most oblivious to some. Haha. Glad you got it worked out!

Unfortunately no, I did all that and it semi worked. Only thing is the program I tested ran but never shut off. Going nuts with this. Sending them back to get replacements. Grrrrrr

Did you have a 0% program point?

You either need to start the lunar cycle or have a program point at the end of your program to have the lights turn off.
