Kessil ramp up/down vs steady light

So I'm new to leds but not new to reef lighting. In the past I've run halides, t5 and leds for a very very short time. I never really liked leds and didn't have good luck with them but maybe I wasn't doing it right. I kept find myself adjusting up and down all the time and the corals weren't happy.

So to my questions. Do you reefers think the whole color and ramp up / down capabilities are better to use or is it better to do a steady setting all day long? All my corals seemed perfectly happy under halides and t5's which were the same all the time, so why not do that with leds? Just wondering if ramp up / down is more harmful than good. I have a reefer 350 with kessil a360we's.

My opinion is that do the ramp when you want to see it and but give the corals for 4, 6 or 8 hours of the same spectrum every day.

The ramp up and down is better for the fish and inverts. It gives them a gentler wake up an lets them know when to get ready for the night. Also, many fish spawn in the twilight period just before the night sets in.
It's closer to the natural daylight cycle.
