So they've got 3 more weeks to deliver.

They already are in some places. I order mine from my canadian online supplier that I do most of my ordering for. He got them end of last week. I don't know how many. I started emailing him asking when he expected them in and he stated when and ordered. Maybe start email they place directly.

Just ordered the controller from Marineandreef.com

I will be putting my first set of corals into my tank in two weeks, so the controller was important.

While I was gonna hold off and go with the Apex later on down the road, I think I can get by without it for quite a while, esp. Since I am looking to buy a second Kessil 360we for my tank. Money better well spent!!

FYI....at the time of the post, they had no more in stock, but the website showed differently. They said that they would be getting in an additional 8 units to ship out tomorrow.....with my order, I guess it's now 7.

I just got mine yesterday and I do love having the controller as I was doing everything manually for the last month. Now my thoughts on it. This is a very well built and great looking controller. The display is very nice. Very easy to understand and very easy to set up. Know what I found though is that its very limited in controllablity. Now this is just from my first set up and play around with it so I maybe wrong but from what I see I think I got it. There is three modes, one in manual, all this does is allow you to set the color and intensity of the lights, there is no timer part of this. The second is the quick settings. This is where you set up the cycle. You are very limited here. There is no option to control ramp time, you have give I believe a max of 6 points to set the time and what color and intensity you want. The last point is the off point. The only other control they have is an acclimation, which I never got into as I have been running them over a month. I do aggree that its much better to dial in as I found they did get dimmer on the lowest setting. I do understand that this is the first release and that they already mentioned in one of the videos future updates will come. Don't get me wrong the love the fact I have something, and I do understand they wanted a simple controller but this is almost a little to simple and limited. I would really have like to have control over the ramp period and or at least not be limited to only 6 points to program.

The way I did that was create a personalized program and use the time settings as well as the color and intensity settings to ramp up and down.

Just received and email with a tracking # that my controller has shipped!! Awesome....can't wait to try it out and give my feedback. I will keep you guys posted.

Got mine also, and I have a question. It seems that you cannot set the last turn off point beyond 23:59, anyone else notice this?

I noticed this too, I just set the time back a few hours to off set this. There has to be a different way. Perhaps this will be addressed in a firmware update....at least I sure hope so!

As per KESSIL....

Thank you for contacting us.

That is definitely on the list for future updates. For now the solution should be simple. The program will automatically carry over from 11:59pm to 12am so I would suggest to keep the schedule as you want it, but have the points in chronological order. Example below-

00:00 25%-25%
02:00 0%-0%
15:00 0%-5%
17:00 50%-50%
20:00 75%-75%
22:00 50%-50%

In this case the light(s) will be off from 2am until 3pm. Please let me know how it works out.
