Kidninja's 12 Gallon JBJ Nano Cube DX

Besides the tank, upgrades ,and fish how much do you think you have in the coral? Money wise? I really want to set up a tank like this I love it!

well in total for everything, its around LESS than $250 (i have an excel sheet of my costs etc etc) i think for corals, its around... $130 ish

Great little setup! I love how well it has filled in :D

thanks! i think its too filled in right now lol

Absolutely beautiful tank, I am green with envy. I have a work in progress 12g NanoCube that is just cycled and I would love to have mine look 1/4th. as good as yours. I just ordered that Hydor Flo, I was so impressed with your talent.

Nice Work

Nice Work

I've enjoyed reading the thread. You are doing a great job with this. I have a 12g myself. Have you had any issue keeping the temp low? I am inspired by how simple you kept the set-up and how well it looks. I have stayed away from any corals for the two years I've had my tank and I am encouraged to start getting this stocked up just by looking at yours. I will probably start with the small upgrades you did and then move into stocking.

Have you considered trying some macro in the space in the back? I would love to hear if anybody has tried this in a JBJ 12.

thanks! as for the back chambers, i just have a couple pieces of live rock and thats it, no media baskets, chaeto etc etc

i have seen it done but i just dont really see the need for it

I can't really disagree with that after seeing what you have done. I will have to keep reminding myself that simpler is better. Any comments on temp?

as for the temperature, i think the most it has been was around 85? but since my corals are super hardy, it doesnt make a difference. these corals will survive anything. usually i have the tank between 78 - 81. if its gets toooo hot i just throw some icecubes in the tank lol

Always look forward to your new video's and advice you generously share with those of us hungry for direction. Your simplistic approach is so refreshing.

Looks Great So what all has been modified at this point? Did you keep the 900 or go to a 1200?
Also what korila is that?
