Killing mushrooms

I have a few rouge mushroom on some zoa rocks. Is there anyway to kill the mushroom beside removing them. The rocks are large and I would have trouble removing the rocks from the tank due to there location.
I was thinking I could inject the mushrooms with lkalk paste, right into the mouth. If I used a small amount, would this lessen the effect on the surrounding corals. Would this kill the mushrooms?
Looking for advise.

I used an exacto hobby knife and dug mine out. That worked like a champ. If they show up again, just scrape the remaining tissue away.
