"kissy" chromis

Hello. I have two blue-green chromis in my 14g. nano reef tank. I've had them for about 2 weeks. Every now and then I observe them locking lips playfully and swimming attached this way... would you consider this normal behavior? Could it be a mating behavior?
Also, how could I determine their sex?

Thanks

i would guess this is heirarchal combat. it will probably dissipate as a dominance is established. I do not know of any way to sex chromis, though. Sorry.

I agree totally. If they are young chromis, they are trying to "decide" which fish will be male/female.
