So I picked up a kole tang a few days ago he is doing great and eating. Now I have not seen any signs of disease; should I treat him with copper just incase or is this generally a bad idea?
Copper is a poison and there are much better ways to be ich free. I use tank transfer method before I put them in to QT just to know I won't have to deal with ich.

TTM is the least stressful method for eliminating crypto, IMO. I just completed QT on a Kole (including TTM and Prazipro), and he did great. He's now enjoying himself munching algae all day in my DT.
