Kole Tang not eating...Help!

My Kole tag I just bought will not eat anything i give him even a seaweed on a clip.....what do I do....I have had him in qt for 5 days and he is smacking the glass for algea that is not there...

Try rubber banding/ tying the nori to a rock an sinking it.
I found my tangs need other fish to show them how to eat off the clip.

well, I used a rubber band on a rock and came home and the seaweed was all eaten but i have a yellow tang in qt with him so I really do not know who ate it.....i will do this a again tom and watch a little longer to see if he eats....thanks
