Kole,Yellow Eye Tang

I picked up a yellow eye tang at lfs on yesterday,very pretty fish.What Im curoius about is have any of you all had one?Also what have you found they like to eat the most?Mine ate nothing yesterday but today he ate some flake food and has been picking at my liverock.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated,thankx!!

I kept one years ago. Nice fish. Ate whatever went into the tank. Grazed from the LR much of the time. Be sure to offer it greens like nori, spirulina, etc, but it should take to meaty foods as well.

ours eats frozen algea and mysis and just learning to pick at chaeto, and spends most of the day kissing the rock!!

It will eventually MOW on the algae on your LR, but should also like mysis, brine, and other macroalgae. Mine was a HOG once he got over his shyness. Great fish!
