i have a 30g and got a 2 initially and found it to be too much flow, so i downgraded to a 1 and a nano so that way the flow is more evenly spread out.

I have a 58 with three 3's in it. ALL corals seem to love the excessive flow, even right at them. My anemones moved to a new place each time I added another 3.

I was running two #3's in my 30g tank ... it was a little tricky getting the flow placement just right, but it worked pretty well. I ran them on the Seio controller.

I took them out in preparation for the 65g ... I really bought 'em for the bigger tank anyway, but couldn't resist running them in the 30g for a bit.
