koralia problem.

Well I was shopping around and I bought 2 or the koralia 4's off amazon and well one of them is not working. I tried plugging it in to try and see if it was a mechanical or electrical, (well the best I could at least) I had it in the water and I wanted to see if maybe the magnet wasn't catching or something like that. The unit's did sit for a few months between the time they arrived and I went to use them and I know they have a 30 day return policy. All in all I am not able to figure anything out, so my question is:

Has anybody had an issue with buying something and it not working upon arrival and how did you go about returning or a solution to your issue?

Greg, have you tried taking the front off and seeing if that jump starts it? Some times the propeller will need to be bumped. Another thing is to take the prop/magnet out of the working one and try it in the one that doesn't work.

I have tried taking the front off I didn't know what would happen so I sat back a little, didn't wanna get hit in the face or anything... I did not know about the bumping it or putting a different prop in there I didn't even think of it so I will give that a try this evening.

I did write Koralia already so we will see what they say. If I fix the problem then not worries if not I will send it in and maybe just maybe they will send an Evo back. we will see.

Well I haven't got a clue as to how I fixed it but yesterday I filled my sink and put the powerhead in, took the front cover off and plugged it in...needless to say the prop flew off so I put the cover back on and it worked with no problems...thanks for your help murf.
