calcium reactors will maintain calcium levels, first you have to get it where you want it with a calcium additive also as your dkh climbs your calcium will precipitate and drop, so what i would do is add liquid calcium to get to level of 400-450 then increase bubble rate to lower ph of effluent to 6.5 and then adjust drip rate to maintain calcium levels, i have the same reactor and i'm doing 40 dpm, and my levels are bet 450-500

cut all the bpm and effluent to 1/2 of what it is now. Your ca is pecipitating. Im sure if you look at your heaters youll notice build up. Oh, make sure you readjust your CA level to balance your ALk first. If you still have problems then put a timer on you co2 regulator you turn off half the time. Eventually you will get to a sweet spot. Your just supplying way too much alk and CA right now. ALk doesnt percipitate but your CA will. Thats why you have those results

What exactly is the dkh of your tank and what is your CA dropping to? What is your tank stocked with? I don't think 28 bpm and 12bpm is alot for a 120g tank (assumming you have some stonies or clams).

My in tank dkh is around 8.0 to 8.8 and my CA before the reactor is 410 and been dropping around 10 point every 3-4 days. I'm starting to add the CA buffer for the last 2 week and now it at 375 today.
When I have the two outputs going in to the drip cup the ph is @ 6.87 and when I remove the output 1 (top of the reactor) from drip cup the ph is 7.2. Is the normal?
I have:
5 - Small colony of the Arco
1 - Good size colony Arco
2 - Small colony of the red monti
2 - Colony zoo
1 - Gogonian
2 - Toadstool Mushroom
4 - Ricordea
4 - Red and Green Mushroom
2 - Colony GSP
1 - Frogspawn two head
2 - Colony xenia
1 - Small colony green glove polyp
6 - Fishes
