Very nice setup. Depending on how much flow you plan to run through your sump those plates/baffles seem really close together - or maybe it's just the photo perspective. Anyway... looking good. Yes the Foster's salt thing was a good thing while it lasted. I'm under the impression it is now gone. or still there but +$20/bucket now. Nice toys with this tank. Looking good.

When you do get it together ensure to include pics of the plumbing.

yeah chris i screwed up and got black silicone, and as you can see i suck, but i did get the job done. the baffles are little over 1 inch apart and the under baffle is a couple inches off the bottom. im running that mag 12 for my return to both returns in the tank. so the flow wont be a ton, and im going to fill it with LR. as for flow for the tank i will have a couple vortex's i think that should take care of the flow. can't wait to get my cat1 hurricone from reef specialty looks like it wont be shipping out until monday

any updates yet. The spacing of 1" if that's the inside clearance should be enough.

that is the hurricone cat1 from reef specialty. i won;t have the tank going until next week. i have to go to santa rosa for my job. it's unfortunate, but im very close to adding water. my LR is almost donr curing as well, last time i checked it was in the nitrite stage.

ohhh what size tubing did you use for your drain on your 125 chris? you know the flex tubing that goes over that barbed nipple. i plan on hard plumbing the rest though, but i have no idea what size of that flex to get at ace.

tank on hole while i am going through legal proceedings with my sons mother who abadoned him for over two years so my money is tied up which im sure she loves. but little does sh e know i am fighting ot the end.

I think I sent you a PM about the tubing size but for historical purposes I used 1.5 inch tubing.

tank is ready to go just all my funds are going to legal fee's right now. a couple months im hoping to start building the reef i have all my gear including the rock in trash cans.
