Thanks Dave, I'm enjoying my new Lens and getting to share my tank with everyone feels great! Also I hope to put together some videos of the system soon where I go over the whole tank and what makes it tick! Also sharing some of my experiences.

How often to you refill your dosing container? What name did you pick for your son?

My Calcium draw seems to be 325 ml a day, Alkalinity seems to be 315ml a day, Magnesium is at 125ml a day, and potassium is 30ml a day.
The calcium and Alkalinity seems to last about 50 days ( I've got 4.5 gallon chambers)
Magnesium seems to last 135 days

Thanks for asking about my son...his name is Adrian

I just fast-forwarded through your build a bit so forgive me if someone asked this. Did you ever look into running DC pumps like Abyzz or similar? They are pricy but pump huge amounts of water at relatively low watts. They are also adjustable. The large one's also seem to be disproportionate [flow-vs-power-draw] if you turn them down a few % worth.

I never looked into Abyzz pumps... I'll do some research on them.
I'm using 4x Tunze 6255, 2x sea swirls, and soon I'll add 2x MP60!

The Abyzz pumps are primarily for return or closed loops. I use a Speedwave which is a knockoff, but is so much more efficient than my last pump. I can pump more than twice the water for the same wattage.
Daniel.

Ran into this thread from google and thought at first I can't wait to c what this guy does from the first post, then realized the thread started in 2011...whoa, really cool what I just read and saw.
