Alright guys. We are contemplating putting LEDs over the 6.5 gallon zoa dominated tank (we are going to do a few sps and LPS as well) right now it's waaaay overkill with a 150 watt HQI. The tank measures 13.5"x9"x13", we are wondering, which one of these 2 should we go with for this tank? Keep in mind it's 13" deep.

I have the 38 on a 5.5 zoa tank and am happy I went with it.

No experience on the 30 but I have read several pico owners that like it as well.

How do you feel your zoas look under the LEDs? I have a 20k over mine now so I don't want to loose a ton of color... What do you think of the par 38? Got any pics ?

The corals are used to a lot so I would go with the 38 and you may have acclimation issues.

My understanding is the corals do not like a sudden change in light level.
