I bought a Tank Bred Annularis Angelfish from Live Aquaria almost a week ago. It said "Approximate Purchase Size: 1" to 2" ", the fish I got was less than 1 inch, so thin and I thought it would have no chance to survive. Well, he is still alive, and eating greedily, but hasn't gotten any bigger or fatter. I am not upset with LA, if the fish lives, I am happy. I never get excited over new arrivals, since I've lost far more fish within the first week than after the first year. However, now it looks like this guy is going to make it.
Any idea what to expect? Will he turn into an 15" monster or top out around 6"? Will he get adult coloration in 6 months or 6 years? I remember a lot of excitement around these guys when they first showed up a Live Aquariua, but all I see now are posts about Clarions when I try to find any information about them.
