Corals and fish selection incredible. Probably spent too much but my passion for sps is restored. Thanks to Hugo and Danny for the royal treatment. Got some wild deepwaters and other gems and the smallest cbb you've ever seen.

The motion is passed. Mr. Anderson please surrender all extremely cool new corals and any pictures of said corals to my tanks immediately:p.

But seriously let's see those beauties.

Also curious on the specifics of cherry picking at the places you went to...obviously better done via pm or face2face. :hmm5:

I think those cherry pickings were a result of .... years of knowing each other, past trading, and basically being a constant in the hobby.

Thanks for the fish Dave. :fun4: Now I have something you don't have. And there a few SPS that I have that I don't think you have either.

Paul nailed it. Are you referring to the lineatus? Sorry, I picked one up while out there. We'll have to do a SPS trade in the future once my tank is stable for awhile (it's there now but I want to be sure for a couple of months). Here's a list, no pics yet while things settle in:

A. speciosa Australia blue/green/purple?
baby blue A. stag/cluster, absolutely glows, thin branch variety
Tinctorius acropora Australia
unusual blue/purple A. suharsonoi with neon green polyps
rainbow A. grandulosa
AC purple A. maryae w/ blue polyps "purple monster"
purple/white unknown deepwater A. sp.
pink-eyed "peppermint" blue(?) chalice

Didn't see many LPS/zoas I haven't seen before unfortunately. IDs are initial guesses until I can study them further. Delta was a bit rough with them but that just means future frags. I think most or all will survive.

Yep, that is the one. Did you see any other wrasses?? I have room for one more, but can't decide which one.

Best of luck with the corals-- not like you need it with your tank. Seems like you have the Midas touch, or miracle grow. Not sure which one.

I take it that you glued the accidental frags to plugs for backups?? That is what I do, and I have ~ 24 frags growing out right now.

Glad to hear you had a good visit Dave :) It's just money right? I can't wait to see the return of Dave's SPS collection/Phoenix reef ;)
I think it's the season for the small CBB's; they must have had a drop recently--we're getting some tiny ones in at SI and they are really cool!

Saw susposed lanceolatus but probably a roseofacia. They also had balteatus fairies, LOTS of rhomboids, laboutei, lineatus (obviously), and more mystery wrasses than I would have thought existed around the entire Marshall Islands chain. The little CBBs are quite cute because their pelvic fins are huge in proportion to their other fins at that age (about 1.5-2" end of "snout" to base of caudal fin is the size of the little dude).

I have yet to see a good rosefascia, plus they are devil dish- from what I heard. No earlei? Hooded? Johnsoni? Blood Spot? I guess you are going to make us all wait. OK, I see how you play.

Some of the rarer fairies are now coming into Honolulu on occasion but many pass straight on through to Japan. If you have an extra $700 or so laying around I can probably put you in contact with someone who can get them for you.

Here's the tinctorius acro, named after a type of poison dart frog. This is not my picture and mine needs to color up a bit.

I'll work on other pics as time permits.

Oh, I forgot. I did find these but they were a bit on the expensive side. I can make frags if there is interest.

Wow. That is nice. I'd say I have interest. But if you say it is expensive, I probably can't afford a frag. :)

I was invited to the mtg by AM staff so might be able to bring frags there. Pm me with your requests if you haven't done so already include # of polyps
