I just recieved this test kit and tested my water and came up with 240. I had to refill the titrator twice in order to get the color change.
my question is what or how to convert the 240 in order to get my readings...

I'm lost and confussed

thanks

Sorry I'm confussed and forgot to add that it was for Alk

I tested everything else also

Ph 8.1
Cal. 340
Mg 1200
evrything else 0

Thanks

Is the reading in ppm of CaCO3 eqiv?

If so the measurement exchange is

meq/L..........DKh............ppm(CaCO3)
2.0 ...... = 5.6 DKh ...... = 100
2.5 ...... = 7 ............... = 125
3.0 ...... = 8.4 ............ = 150
4.0 ...... = 11.2 ........... = 200

Sorry I hate to say this I'm still lost.
i understand that I've come up with 240{ppm,caCO3}.
How do I take the 240 and convert it to get both readings{meq/l DKH}..

Let me ask you this ..if I came up with 240 is that where my water needs to be or is it too high / low ?

Thanks for helping

Divide by 50 to get meq/L. The usual recommended range is 2.5-4.0 meq/L, or about 125-200 ppm. The tank level is a bit high.
