do clams need to adjust to high settings of light as would corals? im juts wondering because i upgraded from a single 150w DE Metal halide 14k to a 250w SE metal halide 10k
yes they are sensitive to lighting changes. You can shade the light by adding layers of window screening purchased at a hardware store. The stuff is very cheap. Do a few layers between the light and clam and slowly remove them over a pieriod of a week or so.
