Large angels and anemones

Was wondering if anyone has kept large angels with anemones? Can they be kept together without the anemone getting damaged or even eaten. I was specifically wondering about a emperater angel and a gig. anemone.

I would worry about the nem eating your angel.

I think it would depend on the fish, but I would also like to hear someone say they kept an emperor angel with an anemone. My interest is BTA, but any anemone feedback related to this fish would be of interest.

Ive kept the small angels with carpets with no problem. I think it might just depend on the size of both the nem and the angel.

i have two dwarf angels with a rose bta. no issue. bta is fine.

I've had a golden angel with a large carpet for a couple of years now.

I have a pair of Bellus and a Potters with a RBTA and Gig....... Some consider the Bellus a large angel, though I do not... I guess it should also be considered that the Genicanthus are reef safe...

I have two emperors with a carpet and no problems.

How many of you keep large angels with anemones that DON'T currently have clowns hosting them? Clowns can often have a good deterrent effect on the offending fish.

I kept a 210 Fowlr that I also kept a few small BTA and on Fire Anemone and several large angels and they never did anything to any of the anemones.

Passer
Halfmoon

also in this same tank were the following
3 ft Zebra Eel
2 ft Spotted Bamboo Shark
Clown Trigger
2 Niger Triggers
Black Trigger
Huma Trigger
Harlequin Tusk

And none of them ever bothered any of my anemones
