Large black spots on Clowns

Both of my clowns are covered top to bottom in hypermelanization spots. At night, they get down sideways and rub up against their monticap. I have also seen them do this action in the nearby xenia. Plus there are all sorts of "stinging" things just floating around in the tank on any given day. Try the fw dip and if the spots are still there, then its a pretty good bet its just hypermelanization, and your clowns can go home.

accually, I am currently in the process of cleaning out the chemi-clean in my display. so I may wait till I am done with all of the water changes before I put them back.

I will try the FW dip. see if that does anything. thanks!
