large flatworm?

Yesterday while cleaning out my filter bags(I always get all the starfish and critters out that I find in my bags before washing) I found a large flatworm( I believe:)). He is so neat-approximately 3" long and maybe 1.5" wide. He is a light brown and lavendar color w/ cream colored spots all over his body. He was cruising around the bucket and I went ahead and put him in my 10 gal observation tank w/ a bunch of lr rubble and live sand.
can anyone give me more info on these? Anyone ever seen some thing like this in their tank before?
Thanks!

It sounds like you found a polyclad flatworm. They're all predators and the ones with the coloration you describe tend to be the most common ones in the hobby. They seem to eat snails, but some people have reported that they've eaten clams as well.

I want it. If you wouldnt mind, I will mail you a cooler with a zoa frag or two for your trouble, and you can mail it back to me(it will be prepaid) with the polyclad. ground shipping will make it to me in one day.

That is if its still alive

:) pm me if interested

look like this kinda??
