large tank wanted 800g +

Wife got a greenhouse for the backyard, so I finally get my garage back!!!

I have always wanted to set up a "local species" fish only tank for the kids (myself included) to enjoy. Being in Montauk, I have a pretty amazing supply of cool stuff available for free.

I have all the hardware I need, except for the tank. Please keep me in mind if you see anyone selling a very large tank, acrylic preferred. Stand is not required.

Condition not all that critical, but price is. I cannot dump a lot of dough without risking singlehood, and Ive gotten too fat and old to contemplate that.

I saw one on glasscages.com 810 Gal. 144 x 37½ x 36 $3450 not sure how much you are willing to spend. that one is glass btw

I have a swimming pool that has to come down, it's about 6,000 gallons.

I have one of those too. (the vinyl one from wal-mart. man, was that the best $200 I ever spent)

This summer I actually built a 3,000 gallon (18x9x3) pond in the back yard. I hand dug it, lined it with railroad ties and a black vinyl liner, worked awesome, looks amazing, and besides the labor, was really cheap.
