Hi gang,
My live rock for the 180gal came with a bunch of turkey wing clams, one of them is fairly large (about half the size of an eyeglasses case). Anyway over the past few months I noticed it would be open most of the time during lighting periods and be closed at night. Recently it seems to be closed most of the time. Is this ok? Is there a way to tell if it's dying? I just don't want it to foul the water if its dead. I've been feeding the clams and sponges phyto every three to four days
