Probably because he has too much coral for the fish to swim freely lol.

No he is a good fish and not aggressive. He is just to big for my tank and I'm trying to cut down on feeding and nutrients. I have a couple people interested, I'm hoping to have him in a new home by tomorrow. He is a beautiful fish, he is at least 8 inches

I bought this.thing when it was about the size of a quarter. Emmett obtained it when I sold off my last tank. You cannot find this fish in better condition. Fat and healthy is a perfect description.

Help me with scale. Would a tank with a 5' x 2' footprint be big enough? It has lots of negative space in the aquascape.

I'm guessing this thing paces your 6' tank pretty actively?

I'm going to have to put the sale on hold for now. I put him in another tank and don't want to stress him right now. It should be much easier for me to get him out of this new tank. I can put a fish trap in this one. I will be able to get pictures of him now once he settles in.

It looks big in emmetts 180... For a show fish this big he'd probably be happy in a 7+ ft tank with 400+ total gallon capacity. Just my 2 cents but he's a big guy.
