Now that i have you attention... Who has the largest private tank? Reef, Shark, FO, ect...

I've been thinking about a dream tank and it would probably be a wrap around tank that is on 3 walls when you walk in the room and is all connected. Even 4 walls if possible. Anyone seen anything like this besides at a public aquarium?

As far as I know, Mr 4000's 4000g tank is one of the biggest private tanks. I'm sure that there might be others bigger, but I haven't seen them on RC.

That guy on monsterfishkeepers.com probably has the largest private tank. Check that link CH showed. He has pics of that tank. Too bad its not saltwater!

That same person also has a 20,000 gallon along with his 50,000 gallon.

There is a gentleman on the east coast, I believe in the Carolinas, that has a very large tank. He is an underwater diver, and wanted a tank to dive in. It has several patch reefs and very natural schools of fish.

I'll try to dig up more info on it.

I still think that the 50k gal Tank in Canda as to be the largest private tank It would take a heck of a lote to top that one

Large Tank

If you are looking for a really large tank that you can have done to your specs then I would look into a company in Fort Lauderdale, Living Color Enterprises.

They build custom tanks pretty much any size and and any way you want it. If they can make it work, they will.

I think the best website to look at is: www.livingcolor.com/installation_long_island_ny.cfm

If you are interested in just talking to someone I would probably get ahold of Keith Young his number is 954-861-2818

That's amazing. I wonder how the light will reach the bottom of the tank? Maybe they have lights added between floors?

There's a reference on the book Corals by Borneman of a 9,000 gallon aquarium owned by Klaus Jensen
