last question before tank build

I have been kicking back and forth on tank design for a while now but the critical criteria is the need for a 1"+ (ideally 1 1/2") wave in the tank.

Realizing that long and narrow is better than short and wide I am thinking a 48" long x 28" wide tank. What Tunze kit would I need to get a 1"+ wave going?

I think you will need a longer tank, 48" is a length where 1" maybe 1.25" is the maximum, a 60" long tank would be a sure thing, 60" by 28" or even 30" and not more than 24" deep would be my best recommendation. In general the longer the tank, the taller the wave.
