Its a juvenile fish and needs some TLC

Its looks like a captive bred and if so they are a good deal and spot on. I have a pair and i cant notice the difference between WC and captive bred.

I think he's a beautiful specimen, but I've never kept a Latz. All that matters is that you love him and you are happy with that specific fish.

Just thought that was funny....

Anyway, looks like a nice clown, pick it up if the price is right. You can get them directly from the breeders distributor in Hawaii for $100 each if it is captive bred.

That is what mine looked like when I bought a pair from Hawaii a 4 months ago. They need a little TLC and food. They do host quickly and will eat a variety of food (flakes and frozen). I can tell the difference between the Wild v. Captive on the head. The captive tend to hang by the anemone and the wild venture out a little more. Mine never leave the right side of the tank.

I can tell the difference because, Latz dont usually show up that small from the wild. The coloring is way too juvenile

Your clowns are still very small. Clownfish can live for 30 years. Once they become large and mature in a few years they will swim all over your tank and dominate it.

+1

Maybe not with Latz, but with other complexes your hands are safe NO WHERE! They will roam as they become secure with their surroundings.
