it's been a while since i checked my thread and i dont know how i missed the replys.

Got a question about your stand. Did you skin the stand yourself or had a carpenter do it?

And about how much did you spend on the stand?

thanks. I had a professional skin the stand. I think is was just under $1k to skin it.

I tore down a 225 and used all my live rock and new live sand so i never experienced an ammonia spike or any cycle at all. all my sps, lps, shrimp, and fish were just fine.

just want to say that your tank is beautiful i love it i have a 120 tech tank too, i have a few questions tho. how many pounds of sand do you have in there and how much live rock are you using?

thanks. I think i had 100lbs of sand and 80-100ish of rock. It was a great setup but i have upgraded to a 300dd with a 500+ gallon system:
