lavender mushroom is breaking in two

Hi everybody,

I am a new reef member. I have recently purchased a 12g nanoCube Dx.

Now it is 3 months that is running and so far so good. I have recently purchased a rhodactis sp (lavender mushroom). I did pretty well for 2 weeks but now it is seems that is breaking in two (see photo). I can now see the rock behind it. Do you have any suggestion? is it dying or dividing? It seems to be happy during the light period.
