Lawnmower Blenny with varying stomach size

I've had my lawnmower Blenny for a year and a half. Maybe I haven't been incredibly observant, but this morning was the first time I've ever noticed him looking a bit thin. But by lunchtime, he was his regular plump self again.

Do they normally do that?

Mine used to do the same thing when I had him. When he hadn't eaten anything good in a while, his stomach would shrink. But as soon as he found some good algae to eat, his stomach would be huge again.

Happens to mine all the time.

Can see the NLS pellets in this picture,

normal from what i can tell.

in the morning before i leave for work i usually throw in some pellets for a snack. my lawnmower usually looks fairly thin at that point, right after he has just gotten up and in fact before the tank lights have even come on.

by the time i get home and do the main feeding he has usually plumped up noticeably, and by the time lights out rolls around he is fat. i've taken to calling him Mr. Creosote.

I've noticed the same exact process with my LMB, sometimes he looks thin and other times he is fat. Probably just pre and post feeding.
