Laying eggs on tiles (color?)

My clownfish have begun laying eggs, this is thier 2nd batch (layed last night) 10 days after 1st lay and 3 days after 1st lay hatched.

Just wondering if there is a certain color tile the fish will take to and lay eggs on...Right now they are laying them on a huge 12' conch shell with corals all over it and i don't want to remove it and upset them or the corals...

I put a small black, purple, & white tile in thier breeding area.

Any thoughts on how to get them to switch where they lay the eggs?

Back when I bothered to have a tile in the tank, I used a white one. Both my GSM pair and Clarkii pair used them ( different tanks )

What I did was place the tile near/at the spot that they had been laying eggs prior to that.

What size tile did you use? thanks.

I THINK it was a 3*3 or a 4*4, just your standard bathroom tile.

Not sure if you can tell by these pictures, but this is what I used.
