LEAR - Lake Erie Frag Fest, 2015

Curious about those that trade or sell on Reeftrader, do most people set up a specific time to meet or do you pretty much need to stay from 11-4 or until whoever buys stuff shows up? I plan on attending but can't spend all afternoon there.

Most people are there right when the swap starts and setup a spot. We have a map where people can fill in their location to make it easier to find people. We have name tags as well.

Additionally, you can get in contact with people and make your own arrangements for swap day.

Here's a couple new ideas were going to try out this year.
This idea we stole from our holiday party raffle, my wife puts together a gift basket for the wives of the club members, were thinking why not do one for the swap? I'm sure the women at the swap and home would appreciate that gift after the money we spend in corals
Second, a kids tank raffle. Not sure how to do this one yet, free ticket for every kid that comes through the door??? Don't know but something just for the kids, a tank set up to get them to share in the hobby with mom and dad.

LEAR started out as the meet at the bar for beers and to talk fish group into more of a family group of friends that do family get togethers a few times a year along with our bar trips!
If you didn't know much about LEAR, we're a small group of like minded reefers with around 15 or so members. Most members are also C-sea members and board members too. Things have evolved from the start of the club, members have left and came back, some have moved away and they're missed at every meeting. But that's who we are, a close group of friends and we look forward to putting this show on for everyone to enjoy!
Hope we meet everyone's expectations this year as we hope to improve each and every swap!
Thanks
Erik

What happended to Fragswapper?
That was so easy.

Nothing happened to fragswapper....and that is kind of the point. Our swap traffic has crashed fragswapper a few times over the past couple of years.

Has anyone complained about sending messages? I've sent quite a few to different people. Not sure that I've received one reply. Is it possible they are going to people's junk mail? Or perhaps I'm being ignored by multiple folks... Lol
