LEAR - Lake Erie Frag Fest, 2015

You mean my total sales isn't $145,000?? Well that stinks, I just mailed a check to my mortgage company to pay off my house hahahaha

I agree with the cancellation thing. 1 or 2 is understandable. But some of those people have 4 or more. That's un acceptable unless they have a legit reason.

What's sad is out of that whole list 10 or more have cancelled on me, a couple multiple times. Not really complaining, but it seems like I might have been the top cancelled on so far lol

Hate to burst everyone's bubbles who thought they were bringing in 6 figures in frag sales, but it appears that the issues on reeftrader.com has been fixed (Good work reeftrader senior programmer!). Thanks to everyone who gave us a heads up!

Now keep listing those corals, its swap month!

That is what the buyer score is intended for. You can click on a user to see the score. The more they cancel after a reservation has been accepted, the worse the score.

And as a FYI, replying to notifications goes into an unmonitored mailbox. It does not go to the user. Judging by our server logs, several people have done this.

Almost 2 weeks away now!
If you haven't done so lately, check out LearClub.com for some of the latest raffle items donated for the event.
We have received outstanding support from a lot of great companies and manufacturers for this years event.

Lake Erie Frag Fest - 2015
Saturday, February 28th
11:00am - 4:00pm

I'd like to remind/request that everyone brings 5's and 10's. It will make getting you through the line and into the swap that much quicker.

This years raffle surpasses anything we've put together in the past years! Less then a week away!!!! See you all this weekend!
Erik

I had a question since this is my first swap but when you reserve all your frags on reef trader and when you show up to the swap that day are you obligated to buy that coral frag off the vendor?? What if the frag looks like it's dying? or doesn't look like the picture or the way they described it? How does that all work ? Just curious

I'd would say use your best judgement. The majority of sales in reeftrader come from hobbiests not vendors, your frag will most likely be in a bag or cup so it's hard to tell what it really looks like. Zoo's are almost always closed up too. If you get burnt on a trade reeftrader has a feedback system that will allow you to give feedback after the swap. That and contacting the seller afterwards helps.
See you Saturday
Erik
