I believe you can find anemones called "sebae" in stores that are either H. malu or H. crispa - with crispa being more commonly found.
You will often find them in stores with very clear white flesh and purple tips - this seems very attractive, until you realize that the white is unhealthy, indicating severe bleaching, or loss of algae. I took pity on one of these about 5 years ago - it survived, and grew from 3 or 4 inches to over 20 inches. I also had an orange bubble tip in the same tank - which had been hosting clowns - but the clowns packed up and left and moved to the H. crispa - and have bred regularly for the last 5 years.
Unfortunately, I had a small water crisis recently - what tipped me off to it was that my H. crispa was suddenly getting smaller - it then bleached, and eventually moved. I have fixed up my water, and am hoping it comes back.
It is really spectacular - even though it is not too friendly to fish. One of my bannerfish - a rather annoying one - poked into it once too often, and I found it floating sideways, stunned and dying. Other than that, it has left my 2 tangs alone.
I have to keep carbon in my system to allow the two species to coexist - probably not optimal, and was only done through ignorance - but they have done well over 5 years (until recently).
