Hey all I might have to leave the hobby for a while. I have to many other hobbies and can't give the tank the attention it deserves so I am thinking of selling the entire thing. I don't want to part anything out for fear of getting stuck with pieces parts.

I have:
120 glass drilled w/ over flows
400w MH 20k
Corallife PC setup 2 actinics 2 10k(less than 1yr old, w/brand new bulbs)
oak hood
stand
sump
mag 9.5
berlin skimmer
3 PH's

100+ lbs of teaming LR
100+ LS
Sailfin Tang
beautiful foxface
mated pair of true Percs
Starry algae blenny
PJ cardinal
big fat Mandarin (eats anything put in tank)
misc crabs and snails
two tuxedo urchins
pom pom crab
CBS
Cleaner shrimp
Peppermint shrimp
Cucumber
4 awesome BTA's
Large toadstool, with several small mounted frags
large devils hand leather
large orange monti cap w/several mounted frags
candy cane coral with at least 10 heads
trumpet with at least 20 heads
tube anemone
tons of Kenya trees
Feather duster
and all the test kits and misc stuff you can fit in your truck
If I forgot anything I will add it later

I really don't want to get out of the hobby and I am in no rush to sell this so please don't bother asking for individual items. Thanks
I've spent tons of money on this thing over the years, so make me a reasonable offer and we will talk. Who ever buys it must have the means to transport it and all the water, sand, rock, and fish with it.

Again please don't ask me to seperate anything.

Thanks waterfaller for saving me the time of quoting myself.

People I am not parting any of this out at all. One buyer takes everything

Snaphook, I am looking to at least get $2000 for everything. I have tons and tons of money in this thing and can't take a hit selling it for less.

You might want to consider lowering the price a bit to around 1500 then you might get some bites for the whole thing. How does 1500 cash sound?

$1500 sounds great, but not for the whole set-up. I have to much money in it to sell it for that. sorry

Salty, you may learn the same thing that others of us have learned. Take what you have in your setup, divide it by about 3 or 4 and that is what someone will pay for it.... You can break the peices up and sell each thing... and you may get almost 50% back of what you have in it.

Ok then I will just keep it until someone wants to pay what I am asking. I am in no rush. Someone will want the set-up eventually, no need to FLAME a guy for not "giving" away his set-up

I wasnt flaming... I was just saying... I do not blame you for keeping your setup, its an awsome setup and if I were you, I would keep it too.

i agree with lisa and mike i have seen people let things go for a lot less as a package.
if they were to have split it up they would have made a lot more.
in fact i bought a 65 gallon a while back with live rock and all.
i ended up after reselling the tank and componets getting my live rock for about .50 cents a pound. nice stuff too like tonga and other stuff.

Flame a guy. Lisaandmike did nothing of that nature so why even say that. And 1500 bucks cash is giving away a set up,not sure about that. But last time i checked 1500 is a lot of money.

I agree with Salty. If you want to make an offer for something, you should do it by PM or email. If you don't agree with how much someone is asking then mind your own buisness. There is no need to post your opinions for everyone else to read.

I also agree $1500 is alot of money, but when you have 4 or 5 times that amount invested then $1500 is pretty much giving it away. Last time I checked, it was still Salty's money and not yours.

Well think of a fish tank like a car, as soon as you take that car off of a lot you take a big hit on it. My 1500 is sitting right here on the table if you still want it salty. Do you? Also when did salty say make an offer through pm? Also its not very nice to come on to a mans thread and try to make an arguement velcro. I have a legitmate offer for the tank and i am almost sure you are not even interested in the tank, but just trying to look for an arguement, which is not right. Thank you. Also salty you can either let me know on here or you can pm me and i will give you my phone number and everything if we need to talk it over. Thanks once again.

What I was saying, if you wanted to offer Salty $1500 for his tank, it should have been done through PM. All you did by telling him he should lower his price is **** him off. I can also tell you that I do have an intrest in his stuff, becuase when it does sell, there are several items that I will be taking for myself that he never listed. I'm not looking for an arguement, I'm just letting you know what's right. I don't have a problem with making a legitimate offer through PM, but telling someone their price is too high for everyone to see is just wrong.
