LED Bulbs Question

I did a DIY LED on my 300G SPS Dominated reef a little over a year ago.
A friend of mine suggested me to have 30% Warm White LED's & 30% 10K & 40% actinic Blue
I went with Bridgelux 3 Watt chip.

I've been getting a bad case of Cyano outbreak only in a specific area. I tried chemiclean, but the cyano is cleared only for a few days only to come back.

Can you please suggest me if my LED's are to be blamed?

It's very common for a major change in lighting to kick off a Cyano outbreak. Not just LED but common with many light upgrades.

I'd suggest a large water change followed by at least 3 days with NO lights (no moon lights, no room light etc) then followed by a deep cleaning of the tank and another water change.

I battled major hair algae for months and months. I figured my rock was to blame since it only grew there. My water tested perfect all the time but algae was always present.

I never thought it was LEDs but after my switch back to T5s, it was gone almost over night. I can't prove it was the lighting but I'm convinced it was.

That sucks! I'm a little more concerned than what I was.
