This is a good representation of what I get in 25 days. These are some of my average growers. Sorry you had a bad experience.

So LEDs don't grow SPS? and they ruin the hobby!!!
in one thread alone we have 3 reliable sources that totally disprove that theory!!
I love how this thread was started to try and provoke an argument against LEDs and instead it's actually reinforced the theory that LEDs work!
Hopefully you realise now (especially looking at the TOTM thread, who used the same lighting) that the problem was you and the way you setup your lighting, not the equipment.

I think it's funny that people get so worked up over lights. I mean seriously, I think we all have a mental disease lol.
Its like the DSB vs bare bottom tank arguments back in the day. There are many ways to skin a cat, but at the end of the day we probably shouldn't be skinning cats in the first place.

Metal Halides won't grow SPS either....
unless you have a tank with saltwater in it within recommended params, temp, flow etc. I have seen a few buddies tanks with only LED's no supp running for a couple years and wow! Gotta say they look amazing. I personally like the color of my radiums supplemented with actinic T5's and ReefBrite LEDs, but thats just me.

+1, maybe in the Lounge? IMO this forum is for people who love reef tanks and saltwater aquariums and want to help each other make them better. Provoking arguments and trying to **** people off for no reason is not what forums are for.

+1...this MH/T5 v LED thing has started to become like Xbox v PlayStation and Apple v Android! Reef Central is supposed to a forum to share ideas and offer advice. However there are an increasing number of people on here that have the attitude that if you don't do it their way then you are doing it wrong. Then you have the next level of people posting threads like this to deliberately provoke people. There is another thread along these lines titled LEDs are ruining the hobby...it's not LEDs ruining the hobby but idiots posting threads like that and this that are.
