Hey everyone, I'm a university student starting a 65 gallon (long) reef tank. I am on a budget and would like to build a DIY LED lighting system. My plan is to have a mix of LPS and soft corals with fish in the tank. I have a few general questions for you kind folks:
1) I found these 10000K, 100W LED lights online @ http://www.hero-ledstore.com/heroled-100-watt-high-power-led-cold-white-14000k-8500-lumen-p-1615.html... I was wondering if two of these 100W rigs would be sufficient lighting for my system? Would these lights work for an aquarium?
2) Also is only having 10000K light good? Or should I get 1, 10000K and 1, 7500K to mix the blue and white colour?
3) And, if these work, is there anywhere that I could find these lights at a better deal?
Thanks in advance for the help! Any responses are appreciated!
