LED mod for a nano cube

Hey guys,

So ive been looking hard into buying a new nano cub. i was very interested in the JBJ28 gal LED pro. Unfortunately I live in canada where the only place that sells it is big als(seems like online stores wont ship to Canada) anyways the price for just the cube is $1100 + tax (ouch)

So i was thinking this evening that is i were to buy the 29 gal jbj cube (cheapest one is $299) and then buy the AI Sol blue light fixture id be saving money.

Now my one question is has anyone ever modded their Cube for the light. Im not looking to take off the hood im looking to integrating the light into the hood.

Any suggestions or anything would be awesome !

Why not get a retro fit led set from rapidled. Not sure if theyll ship to ca but doesnt hurt to ask.

ive never seen this before, I really like the AI sol blue but i don't want an open top cube :S

Like i want to cut a hole in the lid so the light could sit in it
