I m trying to get my head around the LED things.Because they seem the perfect option for me as the my tank can easily get to 30C without any kinda lights in day.
So,a PSU is that supplies power for LEDs like a 12V,1.7A,30 Watt.Then what is buckpack ? is it just a resistor with a fancy name ?
And if I can get the reading of LUX from LEDs and it is 9K from 5" away from 1W LEDs,how much Lumen or PAR is this ?I know that PAR depends upon the color/temperature of LED too.That Royal Blue LEDs put much more PAR then DL LEDs.
